    Chux, tacomatrd99, V5ioV and anyone else intrested I talked to my buddy at Fredon auto repair about getting credit card numbers then calling when the tires show up and he says the place he worked before he opened his own shop people would come in and have them orders tires and then back out/ change there mind/ never come back and then they have $600-$800 worth of tires and they were stuck with them. He understands getting payment ahead of time seems sketchy but it prevents him from dishing out money for tires and getting stuck with them. Then he uses that payment to order the tires and doesn't mark them up and charges a flat fee for mounting and balancing and that's how he can get such good prices.
