Okay. You thinking the hyperspot will be too narrow to be used primarily as a "fog light"?

I was playing with my new hyperspots just now; I'd think the hyperspots would be too narrow for fogs. And they won't have as many lumens as the d2 driving since they are missing 2 LEDs.

Fwiw I was going to go for the driving beam, but I just love the look of 2x2 Duallys, looks perfect to me. I haven't come around to 2x3 LEDs yet :)

Yeah, the hypespot is a specific purpose light. It punches a hole in the darkness. Way out there too. The driving beam has great fill, height, and distance. Very versatile beam. My favorite for fogs.

He Ben, how would you compare the d2 driving in amber LEDs vs white LEDs with the amber lens? I'm thinking of picking up another set in amber LEDs for the fog cutouts in my bumper.

I'd do ambers devoted to fogs. You'll get more light output w/out the covers and when you need fogs, you'll want ambers.

I agree. The 2x2 just looks perfect. But Ben keeps selling me (and doing a good job at it) on the D2s for my fog lights.

Those D2's are nothing to frown at, that's for sure. But if the budget is a little tighter, the Dually floods work fairly well also.

I wouldn't do a flood pattern. I like have a spot beam for fog lights. It works better in dense fog

20% tint on all windows, Deckplate mod, satoshi-ish grille, blacked out and/or body matched emblems, rattle canned rims, red l.e.d. interior lights, bilstein 5100's and OME 881 coils , deaver 8 leaf pack, 1.5" lift shackle, alpine sound system, 55w HID lightforce 140 and 170 fogs
Hmmm... Might be looking at picking up a set of dually's or D2's for the new front bumper... Not sure if the light force 140's are gonna fit where I want them.

Haha I doubt they'll fit anywhere but the center hoop without looking ridiculous.

The 170's are going in the hoop. I was considering putting the smaller 140's between the two side tubes under the headlight basically right where the fog lights are on a stock bumper. Just not sure if there quite enough room.

But if they don't fit I'll definitely look to sell them and add some LEDs for some up close fill lighting.

    Where is everyone?

Still no word on a delivery date for my Taco. Hearing bad rumors that they aren't making anymore 2014 Limited ed. with all the options I ordered. No way I will wait till 2015, unless maybe there was a whole new style that was a must have. Dealer, is givinfg me the old, its still coming routine. you would think they were made in Japan or something.

I need to get a vehicle to mod, since my sons is getting filled up. I need more Light.

    oh and Bump.

I did have a diffused Dually do that a few years ago (mounted upside down under the rear bumper). They replaced it under warranty. Said it leaked around the wire. Noticed silicone sealing the rubber gasket on most of the newer stuff. Also noticed they started sealing the SS screws on the faceplate with silicone.
