I should have no problems trying the new tires out today if I decide to go out. ;)

Pic of our pond this morning.

    Agreed.

    Agreed.

 Good morning Cool Old Dudes ... and Susan ;)

Been busy working half shifts at night and working during the day to help Randy fill his Special Permit cow tag. Finding a full grown cow without a calf within the boundaries of the permit is a little challenging. Permit allows for taking a calf, but trying real hard not to do that, just bothers us both. We could have done it either of the last two days we were out.

Hope everyone is surviving whatever mother nature is throwing at them.

Time to get going for day three. Permit expires Sunday. Just checked another cold one for us, 3F windchill -3F. High forecasted 16F (steady winds 10-15 all day). Got a little snow, maybe an inch or so.

    Take care, Rob

    Rob:
My son was checking out the snow report on his iPad on the way home from school yesterday. I told him to check out Palmer Alaska. He was surprised at the lack of snow.

We are supposed to get more tonight here in the DC area.

All the driveways and sidewalks are clean on my Cul-De-Sac. Time for lunch and do a little work inside the house.

We've had about 6 inches so far - quiet now but round 2 is coming in another hour or two. Expect another 2 to 5 inches overnight. The wind is coming up, too. Supposed to get up to about 25mph so we'll get some drifting, too.

I just waded through the back yard to carry out some corn for the deer. I was a little late for two of them - fresh tracks already around the feeder. I'm sure others will find their way tonight.

 great snow pics... only snow I got was a 20 minute flury this morning... rest of the white is frozen water pellets. Still pretty.

:anonymous: shoveled my driveway with the only flat ended shovel I have - garden shovel. Worked good, but I noticed the end is worn down - this is time 4 or 5 using it for shoveling the driveway.

    evening gents....

You guys still getting snow, take it easy out there

I still do Fred. Just seems like there are more crazies on the road now. There is nothing you can do about the weather so you just grin and bear it.

Not much else I can do ;) Should be warming up some, so the snow/ice should melt quite a bit.

Yup have power. Would survive without it, but do so enjoy having power ;)

Weather sure has gotten weird lately

Definitely more crazies on the road... gotta talk, gotta text, gotta surf ya know

It's always nice being off except when you'r not getting paid:eek:...Fortunately the wife took a vacation day yesterday:D

The kids will be going to school till August:mad: with all the time they have to make up due to the weather...enjoy the weekend Tom.:D

Be careful on the snow and ice. we will probably have snow around till mid May:eek: before it all melts...Watching on the news all of the people with 2 wheel drive getting stuck and needing to be pushed out. These are some of the crazies I hate to see on the road:rolleyes:...Even one of the DOT plow trucks in Jersey went off the road and had to be pulled out:laughing:

Hey Cap, another day in paradise:confused:...you got hit much worse than we did down here... stopped snowing and we only got about another 2" so all totaled we got maybe 12":(...They shoveled(one of the pluses to an association) the driveway and walks last night and now it's not much to do today...Be safe out there.

    Up at 4
    Pushing slush and blowing water.
    1/4 inch of ice.

Was going to help the neighbor and said screw that. If I had started to plow I would have caused more harm than good.

Cup off coffee before out the door to work.
    More snow possible tomorrow night.
Still have the oil tank path and roof to do.
    Tackle that tonight.
Snow blowers are straining real bad now. I can hear them just about tearing themselves apart. Smaller bites people hehehehehe.
Enjoy the day. Ye haaaaaa cause I see lots of the same stuff going on here..
    Take your time.

Up sort of early to clear off the drive and the sidewalk. We only picked up another inch so it will be 20 min of effort. There is a berm at the bottom of the drive where the plow went through last night.

Only 36° here this morning to help melt the snow.

Lots to do today beginning with a dermatology appointment for my son at 09:00 then I need to meet the HVAC company at our church to have maintenance pulled on the units in the church. Last to do is a chiropractor appointment for me at 3:00 today. Somewhere in there I need to hit the gym, cook some chicken and rice and maybe some turkey burgers.
