Great Deal On ICON

I found this ICON vendor "Outlaw Offroad" today, who offer some great prices on ICON suspension systems.

I have not dealt with them at all, so I can't speak for their customer service or the company in general... but the prices are great.

Does anyone have experience with this company?

I'm really liking their price on the Camburg UCAs. $550 w/ free shipping.

 

how much lift will the stage 1 give? Or the stage 2?

It looks like both stage 1 and 2 come with their standard coilovers and are adjustable 0-3". I'm guessing you can get the extended travel (0-3.5") for both stages if you ask for them at the same price. Only stage 2 has the AAL which will raise the rear end 1.5". The shocks are not what increase the lift... it's essentially the springs that do that for you. So to raise the rear end you need to use an AAL or full leaf pack.

 

That stage 2 kit is like 300 bucks cheaper than all the other places

Those are damn good prices, good find man! However for the Camburg UCAs I think that is their old design because it talks about a 1 inch uniball instead of the 1.25

 

I just ordered some extended travel CO's from outlaw...couldn't pass up the price. Only $911 for the set of CO's and a spanner wrench shipped!

 

Hey guys, I'm not sure what Icon coilovers I need? There are 2 listed for the same price. One is extended and the other one is just a normal coilover??? I'm not sure which one to order? I'm planning on buying some Total Chaos UCA's also, but I won't be doing any serious offroading.

 

If you're going to get the TC uca's you might as well get the extended. The normal one will go with the stock uca's.

 

Can you use the icon extended coilovers with a 4x4? Or is it just for a prerunner? Also, is there is any difference between the two, other then the one can extend further? I was planning to order tonight but now I'm kinda confused.

 

You Can use the extended coilovers with a 4x4 they aren't specific to either the prerunner or 4WD model. The only difference between the two is the extended coilovers have a little more travel then the regular coilovers. The extended coilovers also require the use of an aftermarket UCA such as Total Chaos UCA's.

 

Just bought the regular travel CO's from Outlaw. Great deal, great customer service!

 

Mine had to be built it took about 4 days.

 

Mine took only a day for them to assemble and ship. It was a week and a half wait because they were missing part of the CO assembly.

 

That was the same for me. I should have been more clear. I was waiting for the top plate to be made. At least thats what they told me
