During the snow-pocalypse (round 2) down here in GA, I was out driving and nailed a snowed-over pothole. After that, my steering wheel sits at about the 1:00 position when traveling straight. It does pull some to the left, but not enough to match the offset of the steering wheel. I'm wondering if it's my alignment, tie rods, or if my steering wheel is off. Or are there other things I should be worried about? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Maybe the impact made the rack and pinion jump over one tooth?

If it pulls at all you should have it aligned. Then see where the wheel sits and take it from there. But pulling is not good and can wear your tires poorly.

    Alignment,
I have done the same thing in the des and crawling, common thing, if you have a sensor alarm on your dash lit, you will need an alignment and then a tech to recal and reset you abs, it can be expensive.

    All right.
Sounds good. It didn't throw any sensors thankfully!

Make sure to tell the alignment shop what happened and to look for bent parts. It could save you a return trip back to them if it gets aligned with bent parts. I know that they should inspect all front end parts prior to doing the alignment but sometimes if they aren't looking too carefully it could slip past them.

    Could be lotsa shit.

Could be as simple as the steering rack shifting over. It is on slotted holes and can move. Could be bent parts too.

I'd be taking it to a professional and them them look at it. We weren't with you nor has anyone be able to go under your truck like yourself. Better be safe then sorry.
