    Looks like a lot of knowledge in this thread. Question for whoever may have info on this subject. I'm 42 years old, 5'11" and 165-170 lbs. I love distance running, but lift weights as well. Unfortunately, my metabolism makes gains difficult. About ten years ago, I ruptured my right biceps tendon cutting firewood. I knew it was a problem before it happened, had seen an Orthopedic Surgeon who provided Celebrex, it masked the pain, but didn't eliminate the "tendonitis." My left arm is now experiencing the same symptoms. On a good day, I can curl 20 lbs without massive pain and worries of another tendon rupture. Not sure why I have been plagued with tendonitis, but does anyone know of any super secret treatments or know an Ortho that is really good. Love working out, but starting to feel, well...old. :mad:

    I've always been nervous when I do heavier squats (like when failure could happen) because the safety racks are pretty narrow on the platform my school chose.

    Have you heard of trigger point therapy? if you haven't and you are in to reading i strongly suggest you get this book [​IMG]

    just so you know this is gonna hurt but it will definitely help if not fix your problem good luck

    Im sorta confused on your post.. Do you want help w/your workouts or your pain? Do you want both? You can't begin to lift without properly getting your body fixed up, thats for sure...

    I recommend finding a chiropractor who is skilled and has knowledge on Kinesio Tape. Chiropractors aren't just for backs, they do so many things its amazing. I have tendinitis in both wrists so I have to take care of them and I have my girl tape me up before chest day and arms day. My chiropractor recommended this to me and showed me how to tape it.. works wonders my friend.

    Me too. After GA's Snowpocalypse Part II, we were all "stuck" at home all of Tues and Wed. I broke dafuq out of my keto diet and never hit my daily protein needs once....I feel shriveled up today.

    reminds me of when I dropped a 45 lb weight on my foot about a year ago:

    I wear toe shoes.. and I dropped a fucking seat on my foot walking over to the smith machine... this was during the summer but man was I walking funny for a couple of weeks.. Thought my toe nail was going to fall off
