just hook an air line up to it and see if you can put air through it. you'll either build up pressure and know it's clogged, or blow out the clog, allowing you to make the drive to the store to get a new one.

put a piece of duct tape over the breather hole (with the breather off), and poke a small hole in the tape above the hole, with a thumb tack. then drive directly to toyota to get another breather, without going on the highway.

I'd say, just hope it was the breather and not the seal that fucked up.
