Debating Weather Tech Floor Liners or Rubber mats. Also, Weather Tech Rubber Mats or Toyota? I know people rave about Weather Tech, but is it the Floor Liners or their rubber mats? Anyone have anything to say about Toyota rubber mats? Thanks.

I had the Toyota factory all-weather (rubber) mats on my new truck. Replaced them with the WeatherTech floorliners. Much, much more coverage, and great construction. The factory ones might look a little cooler with the grey "Tacoma" insert, but I like the WeatherTech more overall.

I think there's a reason so many guys here have them.

    This.

Mine came from the factory with the rubber mats. I kept them until I got WeatherTechs. The coverage is just far superior.

I kept the factory mats for the back just to have something on the truck (and I couldn't really justify the cost of WeatherTechs for the back since no one is ever back there and I've got the AC anyways).

My only gripes with the WeatherTechs are the fit isn't 100% around the lower kick panel, which is a common problem it seems, as my little decal came off the passenger mat.

    Otherwise, they're fantastic.

The majority of weather tech references on this forum are to the digital floor liners. I love mine.

Love my weather tech digital liners. The ridiculous light grey colored factory carpet would be ruined without them.

Husky liner x-act contour floor liners fit very well in my ac tacoma. They have quite a bit more coverage behind the pedals and over the dead pedal.

I'm not one to spend much on my truck; but the digital Weather Techs are some of the best money I have spent on my truck. I bought them for front and back and have not regretted it once.

Does anyone know if the 09-10 TRD mats will fit in a 2014. Both trucks are AC. I'm picking up my new one this morning. I don't do a lot of mud off roading so I can use the type like I had in my 09. I like having the rubber heel part of the mat and don't want to get the WT right now.

Not sure what year Toyota added the floor mat security twists things (that's the technical term for them! ;-)) That's the only thing that would've changed. They should fit, just might not have the holes in them for the twisting security things.

+1 for the WT floor liners. Have them in both front and back of my DC.

Weather tech all the way! The rubber mats are fine but any spill they fill up fast vice weather tech with its high sides hols everything in. Easy to clean, put in/take out. Only issue I ever had was their logo coming off but who really wants that anyway.

I've been debating this myself. Weathertech's are a little over $100 more than the all weather Tacoma mats. They must be worth it though. Now if I can make myself fork over $180....

I have the husly weather beater floor liners. They are great and can hold water unlike the weathertechs because they dont have the hole for the cleat to come through.

There's no comparison between the OEM 'all weather' mats and something like a Weathertech floor liner. If you want something a little more cost effective but will still do a great job protecting your carpet, look at Husky products. I had Husky liners in my Tacoma and their newer contour series in my new truck. Husky liners were in the Taco for over 6 years and still in great shape when I traded the truck in. The new ones look even better constructed and fit just like Weathertechs.
