Haha, I can see that happening. I watched a sammi get smooshed pretty good by a old K-5 Blazer on like 100" fucking boggers in the pit several years back

Not entirely sure, its not state park so maybe. Still not a good idea, too crowded, too dangerous. Just not one of those weekends.
Its basically Ocotillio Wells North, just has some more hills. If you run out of Oco up poleline or similar you will run into Truckhaen

You can shoot south of Ocotillo, down Split Mountain Rd, at the train tracks that go into the quarry.

I'm planning on camping out somewhere remote off Pole Line Rd and coming in for the day.

You can shoot down near the Quarry like Matt said. You can take Poleline pretty much all the way rather than Split Mtn. There is a wash about a mile east of Poleline once you cross 78 that is a good run and takes you to the train tracks at the bridge east of fish creek.
BE SURE if you take this wash you pop back out onto Poleline when getting closer to 78 (15 miles or so from train tracks) The area has an underground aqua fir and is part of San Sebastain Marsh, it is a closed zone but not marked well if at all. The water level sometimes is way down and its just another wash, then sometimes its near the surface and like driving on an old school waterbed, not a good place to be. Goes from dry sand to full blown mud as soon as the crust breaks.

Sunday silverwood trails. I've never been there so I have no idea where to meet. Is 12 pm a good time for everyone?

Me either. Who can lead then? 12 works for me. Dinner at 6, and as long as its 2 wheel drive I'm down!
