    I'm pretty sure we talked about that over the phone that what you just typed up is nearly my EXACT plan when/if I ever get around to redoing my exhaust. I'm glad someone is getting it done though so I can not be the test mule and see how it turns out. :D

    You're not the one bending the pipe! Have them silly bastards down at the muffler shop figure it out... It's gonna be weird though I'd imagine. Equal length all the way out thru an AT would just be :drool:

    Just got back from Az Automasters who did my AFR sensor bung install a few months ago.

    Talked to them about the plans for a Y pipe and exhaust. Spent about an hour talking to the owner Mike. I can't say enough good things about Mike and his shop. Extremely friendly. Helpful. we went over the piping size, how to route it, quoted me good price. Hopefully within the next couple weeks ill be over there having them get it all done.

    Decided on 2.5" Y piping with a V band flange between that and the exhaust piping. Probably going to redo the AFR sensor in the collector of the Y this time as well.

    We went back and forth regarding the 3" piping. He is worried without the cats amd all that free flowing exhaust, that ill lose some low end power.

    We are thinking about doing the 2.5" Y.. into a 2.5" outlet collector. Then a short section of 2.5" piping before expanding it out to 3" for the muffler. Then dump over the axle.

    Aero 3030xl will be here next week. Going to order the headers sometime this weekend. :woot:
