So I'm in need of some new shoes for the taco and am not sure what to get! Right now I have 35" toyo open country's mts and they have been incredible tires! Noisy but awesome! I've got 45000 miles out of them so far. I do a fair amount of wheeling for my truck being my daily driver. Im looking to get a mud terrain tire and i was thinking about the goodyear mtr kevlars. If you have any opinions on them i would love to hear it! Also if you know of any other good tires let me know.:D

Stick with Toyo's! The MT's wear great, and honestly I don't think they are as noisy as many other MT's on the market.

Oh they wore great! Thats a reason Id buy them again. See these are the only MT's I've put on here so far and the lasted for ever which may have to do with the truck not being super heavy. Have you ran any others besides the Toyo's?

I've only ran Toyo's, ATs and MTs, but I've got a bunch of Offroad and Taco buddies here in Vegas, and from what I've seen Toyo's are the best. Many of my friends have BFGs, Nittos, Generals, etc. They aren't the cheapest by far, but you get what you pay for.

They are all relatively similar in price. So thats no big deal. What do they think of the Nittos?

Probably be my second choice, and third would be BFGs.

Heard anything on the Goodyear Kevlars? Most people that have them say they are awesome tires.

Don't know much about them. They look cool, kinda a hybrid tire I guess. I just stick with what I know though.

Yeah I kinda agree with that! I wouldn't want to get them and not like them. That's an expensive mess up ha!

All of our Tactical pick em up trucks run the goodyear mt/r's haha, makes me wanna get them as my next tire purchase. They seem to do good. They're all tall and skinny 37's.

Edit: When they send me to the Humvee course i'll let you know how they do...then again, i wont be driving a taco haha.
