I didn't really use my truck that much for work. That's why I couldn't justify the costs for repairs, upkeep, and fuel. I honestly could get away with a car and in the last year there's only been one job where I would have had to park a short distance away lol.

I looked at a corolla but figured he rav would offer me abit more flexibility with the rear space

My wife gets to pick the next car. Whatever she wants she can have with no issues from me. I will just negotiate the best price for the vehicle.

When my son gets out of college, a long time from now, I hope I still have the energy to pick up an 88 Fiero or a 95 ZR1 Corvette as a project car.

 

My wife has had the last three brand new cars while I had my used taco lol

ahh gotcha... it's a sad day stripping parts off... I remember doing it to my first Tacoma

 

Thanks rob. It was a hard decision to get rid of the taco but with everything that's going wrong with it I couldn't justify paying for the repairs when I get told "this $2500 part may or may not fix the issue"

 

I have no idea... with everything else, she nags the crap out of me, but apparently if I want to buy a new car, she doesn't say a word

Granted, I sold the first Tacoma for a Chebby truck (for extra room and 4x4) and it had major electrical gremlins so I got the FJ - and I think she didn't like how small the FJ was... so then I got this Tacoma.

 

Yup. Gonna miss this truck. I've put over 300,000 Kms on it
