    Yeah, I remember thinking WTF when you posted that. Don't blame you a bit ... Once you start down the "maybe" road you can burn up a lot of money and quite possibly never get it right. Glad that headache will be over for you. You'll have to let us know how the RAV4 does. I'd like to replace my wife's Escape with one at some point; nothing wrong the Escape, Fords are just a PITA for DIY maintenance and repairs. Still trying to figure out why I let her talk me into this second one. ... Oh yeah, cause it's what SHE WANTED. :rolleyes:

    But then rule one always applies, "If Momma ain't happy ain't nobody happy." ;)

    that thing rode like a cadillac... fully loaded with the 6.0L engine... I was doing a lot of highway driving back then from the eastern shore to central virginia... was so damn comfortable to drive

    But I truly hated it for being so damn big... and then I hated it more when I started having all the electrical problems. :p

    I took a lot of crap on here for buying it that's for sure... :laugh: I couldn't leave Tacomaworld however... I tried a Chevy forum and that was a waste of time... Then i went to a truck agnostic forum and made a few friends... that place was like TW in the early early days - only a few hundred members but we "created" a lot of content...

    Had a blast in it... it's a fun vehicle to drive around... Drove decent on the highway - the blind spots are horrible and the near vertical windshield kind of makes you feel like you're driving a fishbowl... but once you get used to that its fun
