The new tires on the truck had a decent work out today and performed flawlessly. This was in 6 inches of snow/ice/slush mix at our church. At one point I stopped on a hill to remove a decent size tree limb out of the way and I was able to make it up the hill.

I like that they are not noisy when doing 60 mph as well.

 

I put the tires through the paces yesterday with everything from breaking a trail in the snow, ice, and slush to running on dry super highways. I only slipped the drive wheel once but I hit the traction off, I think, button and the power shifted to the other wheel and I pulled right out of the icy depression I was in. I also noted that tight turns in the deeper snow at slow speeds would cause me to lose traction.

Overall after OCDing on a tire choice I believe I made the correct choice.

Glad the tires worked out for you Tom. Mine are getting a workout this winter. I'm satisfied with the way they grip and wouldn't hesitate to buy another set of them.

Just got home from ice fishing; NOTHING AGAIN. Even the guys I fish with could only manage to get 1 pickerel in shallow water.

Tried ice fishing about 3 times. Did ok twice and skunked once. I don't have the patience for it. Lakes around here it's mostly Lake Trout and Dolly Varden. They can be fun but awful small compared to Salmon and Halibut, especially for the time and effort. Still better than sitting home though.

But I'll bet very little of lasting impact to her career will be done to her. We'll see, maybe they'll surprise me this time. I'll stop there before i say too much and go into a rant.

 

I tend to agree with you Rob since the picture is 3 years old at this point.

As for the picture; Sign of the times--NO COMMON SENSE!

Just was in the grocery store to get milk and a few other items. Woman in front of me, maby around 26 yrs. old, had some nice cuts of meat and some lobster tails. I HAD A FEELING: Yup, wiped out the old ACCESS card!!!
WHY NOT? We paid for them!
