    New Yorkers and driving...

    :D

People are morons up here. I know how to drive in snow. I love it! I hate when idiotic people are on the roads though.

Just so it's clear I fucking hate copper plumbing. Stupid shower started leaking and since its wet, solder won't stick. Try using putty and it hasn't stopped the damn leak either.

Seriously man, unless I'm trying to avoid some ridiculousness I'm fine in it. People have no idea how to leave earlier when conditions like this arise and it turns into a shitshow lol.

people down here don’t even know what to do in rain let alone snow. people don’t think to slow down for any kinda weather.

we got 12” of snow at my place Wednesday night.(most we have ever got since like the early 90’s down here in the valley)) Me and a buddy took my truck out and had fun. unplowed road till like 5 am or later. Most back roads don’t even get plowed. mostly just interstates and 4 and 2 lane highways. I did not even need 4wd much but just keep in it since i was goofing off and drifting around. gave some lady advice on how to get up a small hill in her car.

one thing that sucks is people texting and driving or talking on the phone. it’s not illegal to talk if you are over 18y/o here. I really wish it was! I’ll admit i have text when driving, but only when it’s late at night and no one els is around me and i’m alone in the truck. I’ll send one word messages at red lights or when traffic is backed up. Also thats not really illegal, state low says only illegal when vehicle is under way.

THP has a semi they drive around some and look for people texting and than call a officer in a car to pull them over. People don’t think thats right that they can do that. probably the ones that want to text and drive.

I'm no BGR but I think you need to turn the water off, de-solder the joint and re-solder it with flux.

    Good luck, sweat welding sucks.

I’m no BGR either.. But do this!!! also it’s hard to use too much flux. as long as you don’t have it falling off or really big chunks you are good.

This. Turn off the water, de-solder the joint, drain water from around joint, re-solder.

Although to be fair BGR would call in for backup and head out to the beach. Maybe you should do that

 maybe instead of a beach he can find an exit ramp. i hear those are about the highest points in KS. and take a nice look around and imagine he is on a mountain over looking a valley.

edit: i think columbus is about the same. highest point i have seen was a land fill...

some of the funniest times i have had is getting in the truck 15min after saying those same wards. Just go do something. drive on a beach(if any close to you that you can drive on) or some find a dirt road.

Well I've been sick the past couple days, still kinda am. I'm sure it's "too cold" for everybody to go to the woods so I'll probably go by myself or just stya here lol

Psh, we have some of the most hardcore ski runs in the country.

Check out this black diamond I found last week, almost too steep to stand up.

not bad. and yeah i think i saw a place that had 1 lift. i think it was closer to Cleveland though, and by a river i think. also could be seen from interstate. just most of what you see along i-75 and 71 is flat farm land.
