I really miss the sound of spooling turbos :pout:

also on that note. Dad's car is on the mend :woot: They pulled the motor and bored it out another 8 hundredths due to some wall damage which was likely how oil was getting into the system... Sump system is re routed and all seems well so far. Looking like we might be in the clear besides maintenance now. The car might end up mine one day after all :D

Yea that would straight drain just about anybody haha. Although I do have a love for go fast stuff, things like winches, tires, bumpers and the like are more important for now haha. I may just leave the truck NA and as the offroad slow goer and pick up a car as a project that can just sit in the garage and fill my turbo need. Something really simple like a 944 turbo, nice balanced car, easy to work on, rwd, cheapish.

    This one's done well.

yesterday a co-worker and i took our sons out ice fishing. i was able to get the wifes ice cleats to work on my sons boots with a couple of zip ties lol. he was having fun "running" across the ice. the morning was nice, sun was out, little to no wind, then about noon the wind hit with a gust and never went away, we headed back in. by the time we got home it had started raining and snowing.
