Haha we're getting there with pure strength! Or the strength of my friend with my instruction and minimal strength haha there's been a couple of times that I just couldn't get things to move with my weight...

I'm just hoping tomorrow goes smooth and we get it done! I'm actually surprised in how much we accomplished in 4 hours though, would have been done in about 5 I think with installing the shocks and bleeding the brakes for the new brake line.

Glad its coming along. We'll have to check out DAT stance when you done. Surely it will be more ill than Kase's flarelessness...

Also, if air tools aren't an option, at least get yourself a cordless dewalt impact driver: http://www.dewalt.com/tools/cordless-impact-driverswrenches-high-torque-wrenches-dw059k-2.aspx

It looks huge in the garage haha like I said it's up to my should now it seems. May need some wheel spacers now to give it more stance... :spy:

I did mine with no air tools too. Not a huge deal really. I had to grind everything off anyway haha.

And that's odd your shocks were hard to remove. Mine came off like they were new :notsure:

Yeah, I don't think air tools would have made much of a difference. I'll have to take pics of the stock rear bushings. They look brand new! Haha

The bushings wouldn't let go, but I was able to get them off with the shocks so they're re-usable for 95taco.

Only thing we had to cut was the front main eye bolts, everything else came off relatively smooth though.

When we replaced the shocks on my 96 it wasn't hard. The bushings on my 5100's were on there good though after only 12,000 miles.

Using spacers for stance is like using a body lift for bigger tires to me...

Pretty much. Its cheap and tacky to me. Plus i live in a state where you can be cited for tires sticking outside of the wheel wells

I've thought about spacers...but the wheels I choose should give me the stance I want. Unless I go with a really skinny tire or something.

For practicality my 3.75" backspacing wheels work perfect for flex. For looks though... Haha:drool:

my tires stick out right at the edge of the flares, so it works out well.

Since I have no flares my tires stick out about an inch maybe. But I want them to stick out more cause the flares will go back on eventually

Yeah, 8" wide. 4" backspacing would be better in my opinion if I could fit 12.5" wide. But since you're not going that wide it should be fine.
