New shocks and struts...still rough ridin

    I was having some trouble with my truck riding rough so, I just put new monroe shocks and struts on my 96 and it still rides like a Radio Flyer wagon. Main street in my town is awful and full of potholes so I tested my truck's new suspension there and it still rides like hell. My dad's 2nd gen rides through it without riding as rough so what's up with my tacoma??

    The springs could be worn out. You may want to consider replacing them.

    DO you mean it rides rough like just a really stiff suspension? The 2nd gens do ride a lot more car like than the 1st gens also.

    well it may be that they are just stiff. but now that they are already bought and on there I cant really buy any other shocks or struts. lol My little Taco is turning into a money pit. I've had to replace the exhaust manifold and fix the A/C within the last week.

    haha true that. I wouldnt have any other truck than a Tacoma. It has 208K on it. Its a mean little truck.
