    Alright guys i just ordered some DT headers for my taco (08 2.7liter) today and they should be in on friday!!! So i was just wondering if you guys had any TIPS on the install for me? Or if i need anything in addation to the headers, like bolts, gaskets, and so on..... anyway thanks guys.

    4.56 gears, rear trutrac,DT header, 235/85r16 Duratracs, 2nd filter pulled, inter.wipers, Cruise control, Factory alum. whls/winter tires(2nd set), Afe pro Dry-S , Dumbo eared flaps cut down.
    NIICE! I'm wanting one too. Would love to see a photos series of the install, then a review of what you think of it.

    well when i get the headers in ill prob have to wait untill sunday to get them put in! but i might get a little antsy so well see what happenes. but ill do my best to give you guys a clean write up. also thanks for the couple of tips i have have heared the stock shit is a bitch to get off haha

    oh you think you might know from what we tell you lol. i thought the same its gonna be a bitch but when you starting fiddling with it your gonna be swearing like a drunken sailor...
    then again for me it was after a "few" haha

    spray some pb blaster on the bolts and let it seek in for a few mins, before you try to remove the bolts. helps a little

    haha well ill be ready for the swearing. but i just gotta get done before my girlfriend gets home from work that day cuz she says im gonna end up breaking shit!! so i gotta prove her wrong, cuz she offered to pay for the install. anyway where do i get the stuff to losen up the bolts?

    haha my dad says the same thing and everytime i succeed he is really suprised the car still runs ahaha and idk were to get the pb blast i just put a little wd40 and let it soak alittle but if theres anything to make it easier do it haha and be careful not to strip the bolts cause its very easy to do

    well i just took a look at it while i was out and it really does look like a bitch. I thought the satoshi grill was a little rough :) haha. but ill have to get some of the pb blaster any ideas on how much that runs?

    dude relax its easy as shit, allow yourself between 2-3 hours and youll be good to go. all you need to do is take off the intake hose and box and the air hose for the air inj. pump and then take the stock manifold off really simple just take your time and itll work fine. note if youre not real good with basic tools allow yourself a little extra time!

    I'm not totally sure but it should only be a few bucks...I've heard people say they soaked the bolts twice a day for a week and they came loose a lot easier that way. More time for the solvent to penetrate=easier to remove later.

    i think the pb blaster is about $4-5 a can but use it sparingly should last awhile

    Im suprised no one has pointed it out yet...but when your header'S come in....let me know where you put that extra one, because only one is going to bolt on to the motor. :D:D:D

    I kid I kid...but seriously let us know how it performs because i would like to get one for mine too.

    For anyone who has done this before, how many dollar$ was it to have installed. I want to do this , but am hesititant with it cuz i'm still under warranty. And also how is it , like mpg change, how well does it feel at lower rpms.... or does it feel like power is at higher rpm:popcorn::spy:
