    I worked for an officer whose previous job was flying C12s into the radar sites to taxi radar techs and other personnel to and from the sites. At one the airfield is down the mountain from the actual site. He told me the story of flying in there once and no one being at the airfield when they landed. It was like -55F, the airfield control shack was locked up, and he really needed to relieve himself. You know the old cartoon of the Eskimo peeing ice cubes, well apparently it happens at that kind of cold. He said it was one of the craziest things he'd every seen, but his pee froze in mid-air before it hit the snow. Also said he didn't leave himself "exposed" for very long either. :eek: :laugh:

    Hadn't thought of that story for a while. :laughing:

    Hmmmm ... Have to see if Kristi feels like making blueberry pancakes this morning. Grand kids are here for the weekend, I'll have them ask her ;)
