That's mostly your lift though. One perk to your 6" lift is that you didn't have to trim hardly at all to fit your 35's so you are kind of an exception to what Adam has been saying this whole time as well.

But I do agree that 35's will make you more capable, but the difference in capabilities between 33's and 35's is so small that other differences are going to show up like ride height and driver skill.

Your breakover angle is NOT a result of your tires. You have a 6" lift. That's what give you the frame height. Not the ~1" of clearance under the diffs that come from the tires. Big difference.

Like I said before, whatever you need to convince yourself that you're better with 35's is fine. I've wheeled on 35's, 33s, 32's 37's 38's. Sorry but 35's are not going to change much of anything over 33's. Sorry.

what size of tire are you on now?? ask your girls and wives if one inch makes a difference.

If going to 35's really didn't make that much of a difference no one would do it..

LOL I was making a dick size joke.. it was for everyone that read it like girlfriend and wives. No I wasn't talking about his girls that's gross..

ill drop it but the point is if 35's didn't help that much they wouldn't be worth the cost. yet everyone that does it says it is. you tell me you just sized up so yeah.

That's the plan. Will have winch and hopefully HC rear by then. Shoshone and christina here I come!
Edit: have had the winch for a year, actually. But I bought an arb front bumper and will hopefully have all of it installed in the next week or two. But with all that extra weight I will probably need to upgrade my front coils.

dick jokes with any reference to my wife isn't cool (and I'm glad you didn't say it in front of me) and tires aside. I'll stay out of it from now on. I'm not going to make this trip anyway. so I'll keep my opinion to myself.

It all comes down to the driver. I have seen just over bone stock rigs out wheel $100k rigs. It takes the driver knowing his vehicle, his limits, the hotrods limits, and how to pick the lines that suits his style, skill, and vehicles ability. There situations that a 35 will slightly out do a 33, and, believe it or not, there are times a 33 will out do a 35.
If you can, see if you can find videos of some of the off-road comps in Europe. Those guys are excellent drivers, and a lot of them run 33's. They push those rigs to places that I would hesitate to go. And I am not scared of very much.
