Cant believe i never thought of that! Im going to build one for sure! Doubt it will come out as clean though. Did your friend makes plans for it or just build as he went? Mind if i copy the design? I don't like my Hi-lift sideways like store brands, I like it upright like yours.

That would be awesome if you could I would really appreciate it! And my dad had a wobble in a hitch sled carrier one time he fixed by drilling 2 more holes in through the receiver and hitch mount and bolted a heavy duty screw in. I would probably only use it on camping and wheeling trips but it looks fantastic. I have installed the trail gear tube bumper so my receiver is higher then yours but ill make adjustments :D

Why are you waiting until after you get the new leafs to get an alignment?

Could be the alignment causing some vibes, if you still have some after an alignment then a diff drop should help. All you have to do is remove the stock skid and un-bolt two bolts that connect the diff to the bracket and then use the new bolts and spacers.

Then why not get it done now? Rear suspension mods don't change your front alignment. Only front suspension mods or new tires on the front will effect your alignment.

I just want to be able to cruise totally doorless. Haha. Wouldn't be worth the trouble though since I'm power windows, mirrors, and locks. Feel like it would be a massive pain in my ass to take off the doors.

The change in rear height directly impacts the caster. Especially if the difference is a few inches. Besides. I'm pretty sure John has a set of springs on order and will be doing the rear shortly.

Finally ordered a BAMF BPV relocation plate. Don't know why I didn't do this sooner.

Eh, caster isn't something I usually have them put in spec anyways. I throw mine out a bit forward.

yeah, he got the leafs yesterday. I was just wondering why he was waiting.

I don't even know how much higher in the back the Dakars put me. I'll have to do some research and maybe some experimenting. I know a few posts I've read lately have me saying "Yeah, my truck brakes like that." so I figured it was time to order one.

Still have to order some axle relocation plates to make up for the shift forward.
