Shit son... maybe 2 years.. I didnt go to superstition last year.

 

Yeah I make my way up that way for a few diff things during the week usually.

sometimes its to jason speed freaks getting work done.

Other times its the videogame place off the 78 or other places like the carlsbad mall.

I barely drive this thing anymore but I am getting a daily driver finally.

Been tempted to sell my truck a few times over the years because its just so impractical anymore.

I already have my money saved for a daily driver so this black beauty will be parked for a while.. only moved every few days to keep the spiders at bay. LOL

 

I'm thinking of getting some McNeil 4in glass soon and I was wondering if anyone has got paint done by them and how it turned out. I'm not sure how easy it is to mount the glass, so if it is cheap enough I would have them do it as well. Anyone have any personal experience with mounting their glass? Also planning on getting the clear coat resprayed on the roof of my truck before its all completely gone and the paint starts to go.

If I don't go with their paint do you guys know any fairly cheap shops that can color match, my dad lives up in San Bernardino and theres an auto body shop on pretty much every corner so if not I can probably find some cheap shops that can do it up there.

 

Install em yourself. Its fun, you learn as you go, and you get involved. Its also a piece of cake. Carefully remove your stockers, and sell em for some cash back ! I might be in for a set of fenders as well. Maybe they will make us a deal?

 

Cool wasn't sure, I'm sure i can get help from my dad for the install. He was big in the off road industry about 15 years ago but got out of it because it was an addiction and he's afraid if he starts back up he'll go broke.

Chris (csjumper) had the whole service by them (McNeil), fitting and paint and final fit, however, they took his truck to TJ.
The fit and finish did turn out nice though, just send him a pm.

Just called up McNeil to get a quote on some 4in glass, the guy quoted me $300 for glass $100 for each item to be painted and $100 for mounting. His final quote was $700, seems a little high to me. Also I'm not sure if he's charging me $100 in tax or if his number were a little off, but he said he couldn't really do a SoCal Tacos discount right now, so I might just wait until another one of their sales. I know they just had 20% off for the offraod swap meet and they always seem to be running deals throughout the year, or if anyone else is planning on getting some glass maybe we can get a group buy price.

 

700 if the 100 bucks is for Each fender mounting, mounting and getting clean lines can be pretty time consuming.
