adjust split toning for that car shot, if you have LR. otherwise, you'd be best adjusting the individual colors

 

Damn those flower pictures look amazing!

Okay so I started bringing my camera with me places this weekend. I really should bring a tripod too. With that being said I only got three pictures I liked, one I still need to edit.

I went bowling with a couple of buddies and after a certain time it turned into cosmic bowling. What I like about this is that if captured the light really well. My issue is I wasn't sure what to do about the pins. I fell like they are totally blown out, and could not figure out what to do to make them look better without just rebuilding them in photoshop.

These were both taken freehand. It was hard to get a crisp shot in the dark like this.

haha im impressed you even got a shot worth keeping shooting at those shutter speeds.

usually anything lower then 1/80 is tripod territory.

 

do you have lightroom peter? you can use the healing wand to touch up the pins to lower the exposure a bit. Cool shots though.

 

Indeed... I've been very impressed with my Nikon VR lenses.

 

Makes me jelly looking at almost $1m worth of cars in that shot.

 

Well I use the same technique I use when I shoot rifles. I exhale as I press the shutter and don't lift my finger until the picture is up. Basically a follow through, it makes a hell of a difference.

I have photoshop. I think there isn't much I can do about those particular spots. Even when I lower the exposure way down they are still white. so I think the spots are just toast. I tried a slight overlay on them with a similar pink, and it look a little better than the picture I posted on here.

Well over 1 Mil there. I am correct there is a Ferrari Enzo in the back and that is easily close to a Million right there.

 

Yes. And an f40 these days isn't cheap. When they came out they were about 200,000 if I'm correct that price has since doubled or tripled for a mint one

 

I think you are right! I know they are not going down in value.



Speaking of sexy red beasts, local group had a wrench day. I installed my new battery tray and did a little flexing for fun.

 

What brand of cards are you using?

 

The reader or usb cable might be shot. I have been having issues with my works card reader it turned out to be the usb cable.
