    Hello,

For those of you who are running the Maxtracs up front with everything else stock, do you still need the Taco lean spacer?

I have the 1/4" Taco Lean spacer on my current 885 coils but don't remember if I'll need them when I re-install my OEM springs & 5100's @ "0" with the spindles. I know that the drivers side OEM spring is longer than the passenger side.

    Thanks.

Think you answered your own question at the end. If you go back to stock springs the 1/4 spacer isnt needed provided you put the longer spring in the right place ;)

Need some quick help...so pissed that now this is a problem after gettin a new CB! I had bad vibes since I got the new CB installed at firestone...hopefully they didn't mess anything up. It's started between 30&45mph real bad so I figured must be tire issues. That has been ruled out since the vibes not only occur as before, but are now constant. When takin my foot off the gas, the vibes stop and the truck rides smooth while coasting

Just curious if anyone can confirm a CB problem? I'm looking into what Spacers or washers I can buy to drop it temporarily until i can possibly buy the beefed taco drop kit. Thanks for any input

Not sure about what is causing vibes, but my .02 is I ordered a cb drop bracket from beefed taco, took 6 weeks to get it, so have patience waiting and I still have vibes at 35-45 mph... :frusty:

Yeah had an ome spacer plus a couple washers had vibes at take off and 25-35... Going to start adding shims and playing with the angle at my rear axle to see if that could be it, one joint was replaced but looks like I may just change the other 2 to see if that caused it...

Maxtrac spindles, debugged, lots of plastidip, Iron Cross rear bumper, new head unit,
    looking for recommendations..

I currently have the spindles installed, everything else stock up front, and a 2" block in the back. I primarily do street driving, but I just installed some 285/65/R18's with some new rims. I get a good bit of rubbing when I'm going over a bump and turning at the same time, no rubbing at all when I'm on flat land fully locked out. So to my real question, whats the easiest/cheapest way to get another inch or two out of the front so I won't get the rub… and what to do with the back to keep it even..

any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

(and I've done a lot of trimming already, but over time I've narrowed down the rubbing to metal that I can't just trim up with a dremmel)

1.5" spacer, right... Got that on before the cb drop :notsure:

The only thing is that originally I had a 1.5" block which wasn't tapered and now I am installing a 2" tapered, thinking maybe the angle will help but starting to think it is going to be my damn u joints...

Just replaced all three of my u joints and no resolve on mine either. Going to tear Down my rear tonight and make sure my blocks are installed correct. My rear end is not point straight like it should. It is Angled up. Also anyone know what the thread is on the cb bolts. Was going to go pick up some longer ones and a hand full of washers and see if I can rid most of the vibes with washers before I order the cb drop from beefed taco

Also still need to see what size spacer i need for my ds but damn hate to take it back off the rear again

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but if you still running oem springs upgrade to the 884 or 885s springs

If I put the adjustable bilsteins on top of the Maxtrac's, do I need to replace the UCA?

It depends on the setting, just keep it under the 2.5" setting and you won't need them.

If I put Bilstein 5100's on the front and an add-a-leaf in the rear, what Shock should I use in the rear?

Let me backup ... Presently I have an 06 DCSB Sport 2wd. BFG AT KO 265/70 R 17 tires. Daystar 2.5 inch "lift" with I think a 1 inch block in the rear on original stock shock Bilsteins all around. Nothing else has been done suspension wise. I run a metal rack with a roof top tent in the bed so it seems (at least in my head) that the rear is sagging slightly from the added weight.

I'm not a rock crawler, mostly stay on dirt roads or fairly level ground (,maybe some minor to medium rough spots or creek crossings if I think I can clear them). 85% - 90% of what I do is paved road driving.

Suggestions please ! I know I'm a bit off topic but could use the advice.
