I really like it, very comfy for highway trips. Honestly though, I didn't have much to complain about with the Taco for the same highway trip other than the inconsistent cruise control. The Taco would go through 7 - 8 MPH swings on hills! We didn't have a bed cover on the truck for the way out so everything had to be packed into the cab. I really got a sense of how much room there is in the cab. I don't think I'll outgrow this truck anytime soon, even if the family does continue to grow.

Good luck with that! I went in last weekend with a $25 gift card and ended up spending $120 (that's $120 after I spent the gift card)

Mine was the xtra cab of access cab or whatever it is called (11'). It had decent interior room, but with the dog in the back there was not a ton of extra space for other stuff. I'm sure the king quad cab is a while different beast though.

The rear seats are a 60/40 split so I just fold up the small part and the dog has LOTS of room. Joseph's car seat takes one of the spots and all our luggage was packed up on the floor and on the other seat. I could fit most of our stuff between the back of my seat and the rear seat. I need to find good places for my tools though, this truck has different storage configurations I just have to figure out.

This snow is been keeping me busy. It's like gods pouring cash out of the sky. Mike how are you liking the transmission shift points in your truck? I have seen complaints about them, just a basic update is provided. It's basically a different map that may suit you better.

Every commute down that way takes a minimum of an hour and a half regardless of how far you are going. Its brutal.

With many transmissions being electronically controlled no-a-days even shifting into manual 4th has to be monitored by the PCM/TCM it will determine weather or not it is "safe" to shift. That being said the same is for OD it may feel like its searching and all but to a real mod. I am not sure if you can with a Toyota but you can wire a switch to FORCE lock up. I'd look into it if you tow, as well into a inline AUX cooler

Auto with tow package has an inline trans cooler as part of the package. Manual doesn't have one, but doesn't really need one.

I think for every person I've almost hit, or has almost hit me, because they have run a stop sign, should get a complimentary bag of sugar delivered to their gas tank.
