This sunday I was rear ended by an older lady in her Ford Focus, we all had to stop quickly bacuase the guy in front decided he was gonna wait for the next green light. The lady behind me was following a little to close and she hit me. Funny thing was I saw it coming but couldnt do anything except let it happen. My girlfriend latewr pointed out that a couple seconds before we were hit I said in a calm voice "aw sh**".

Anyways here are some photos I took, luckly she was ok and I seem to only have some wrist pain and my gf's back is soar.

Thats the very first thing I said after I checked my gf and the lady.

Im glad it was a small car at least for my sake. I feel bad for the lady whose car is probably totalled now.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Following too close is following too close. With all due respect the driver of the Focus needs her head examined. Maybe a nice hike in her insurance rates will smarten her up; probably not, though.

99% of the drivers in Louisiana need their heads examined. Going home in rush hour traffic..I normally follow the slow pokes in the slow lane. Fast lane is where all the idiots are following each other way too close. One day it will be like dominoes. Lol

Well that clarification worked out poorly for you. You should have left it alone. :p

I know, go ahead and add me to the wall of shame.

I guess I could blame the accident ;)

Is it me or does it seem like it's always a Ford Focus that rear ends people?

Pretty much Fords in general. Unfortunately mine 6 mos ago was a F150 with cattle guard. Fortunately, it was less than 5mph that resulted in only bumper damage and a new body armor rear bumper with extra left over to pay for most of the used front All Pro. I was more initially upset because of my 2 yo and 5yo was in the truck at the time.

My grandma used to have a Ford Focus until my Grandfather read in Consumer's Digest that Toyota/Scion was the way to go. She probably hit stuff in both the Focus and the Scion because she's old.

A lot of us look in the rearview and watch out for our surroundings. I said "hold on" to my gf when we got nailed by a drunk driver. Totaled my 4runner but we were fine. Never owning a small vehicle ever again.
