I always throw them into orders with other things I'm buying with the "its only $3" concept, now with as many times as i have done that I probably could have bought something big

Unless you live in MA where we're required to have the adjustable stocks pinned for safety

I feel bad for you northern guys.. mag limit would piss me off to no end.

I love my ar but my baby and safe queen is my MSAR STG556. Love that gun but if I had to protect the house it would be with the ar.. the Steyr aug design just doesn't seem ergonomic as it pertains to combat.. maybe the Austrian military version is better equipped

it's all about training. When the Chinese military switched to the bullpup design from the AK to the Type 95, the biggest hurdle was to re-train the entire military. Here's a clip of soldiers learning how to manipulate their weapons:

Not just mag limits, there's more BS we have to go through to make them 'compliant'. NY has it worse than us in MA though.

NY can't have pistol grip, forward grip or muzzle device because those are all evil things.

Yikes... my wife and I have considered a move to NY, I'll have to be sure to really do my research on moving my guns out there to see what I can and cannot keep.

at the point, why even have an AR? Instead of modifying a firearm away from a configuration by which it was designed to operate effectively, why not purchase a semi-auto rifle that already falls within the criteria of local law? Such as an SKS, Mini-14, M1A, FN FNAR, etc

    1. Some people can't move.
    2. Don't have to register as assault weapon with state, as required by safe act.

If I had too I would get the spur grip and just take off my muzzle brake. Simple. Spur grip allows you to run a regular stock and is compliant. That's what I've been telling people to do. Although I'm hoping, NYFirearms, SCOPE, and the other pro-gun lobbies in NYS make a big enough stink that we get someone to repeal it.

They've already arrested several retired military because of this law. Which is absolutely fucking unacceptable.

Can I have it? I've never thought of buying one but if I can get a bullpup stock I'll reconsider.
