That worried me too. I read up on that before I bought it and they "say" it doesn't. Time will tell I suppose. I do know... don't get your debit card close to it.

My Wife does much more damage to a debit/credit card than a magnet would.......

I personally love the phone. But I will say it is big. I used to be the biggest Apple fanboy out there but I just got fed up with being so locked down with the phone. I switched to Android devices and have never looked back. It is nice just being able to plug your phone into the computer and it show up as a hard drive. You can just copy and paste music, pictures, video, etc... without having to create a fucking playlist like you do through Itunes.

As far as the phone goes? I had the Note 2 and I bought the Note 3 and the watch the day it was released. I personally love it because I can make the phone my own. Size might be a issue for some people and I will not lie... this phone is huge screen wise but very thin. I have no issues with keeping it in my front pocket. If you're switching from a iPhone the entire iPhone will fit in the screen portion of this phone with plenty of screen left over. Some people don't like the size and that I completely understand. My wife has a Galaxy S4 right now but will probably get the S5 when it comes out. She's about as big a geek as I am.

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST PEOPLE HE JUST PUT IT WHERE HE WANTED IT. YOU COULD PUT IT ANYWHERE YOU WANT.

Like, for instance, the 3 million other locations that would be better and safer than where Britt put it.

In reality the only thing I can't do is read texts. Everything else shows up on the Nav/Entune screen.

Ahah! I haz no big screen in my truck :D. Honestly I just set it next to the shifter, it fits perfect there at a slant so i can look down and read texts, but I rarely text and drive. I only set up my holder on the dash for drives longer than an hour

I have one also, I love it. It is mounted above the vent to the left of the radio. Pretty strong magnet too. I had never heard of them until I saw them at a Love's truck stop. Found it online for $20.

Nope. Unlike hard drives, floppy diskettes, and access cards with a magnetic stripe, flash memory isn't affected by magnets, in practical use. Some USB sticks even have caps held on by magnets.

If you put the phone (or USB sticks) in an MRI machine, it will likely be damaged by induced current.

You should not wear a speedo day-to-day. Not healthy for your reproductive organs.

I like the placement...the case I have on my iPhone actually keeps mine in place in that same location.

My 14 entune radio reads my texts out loud :spy: lol

I would be careful not to put credit cards, IDs, hotel keys, etc. in the same pocket as the phone, however.

The magnets on my Toyota USB key erased a hotel key when I kept them in the same pocket:

try it out...mess with the settings...its good for those quick replies you might send to your wife or gf before you leave to the store or something and then a notification pops up and reads it out to you
