I did some dumb shit in my life, but nothing disrespectful like that...hope they find them and at least give them a reduction in rank if not a D/Discharge. To many are making light of the loss of our Service Personnel lost in action.

Jim: I looked on snoops and could not find any reference to the photo so it might be legit, sadly it probably is. disgusting is too kind of a word for the actions and photo.

We did funeral detail out of Fort Stewart into Florida and it was not an easy job. Very hard not to cry when laying the fallen serviceman to rest.

One of my Lieutenants, after she put on Capt and PCS'd to McGuire, "deployed" to Dover AFB for 6 months running the Mortuary Affairs office that processes the fallen upon their return. With two deployments to Iraq behind her, she said Dover was the hardest and most emotional job she ever had to do. She worked directly with the families of the fallen.

These pictures that keep showing up on the internet are incomprehensible to me. There are still a lot of great young Americans serving and these punk idiots keep showing up giving them all a bad reputation, that makes me even madder.

Good morning and yes there are a lot more honorable soldiers than those in the picture, thank goodness.

I agree with having to work with the families of the fallen soldier, it is not easy to do.
