What I'm saying is mine is fixed to the point where a simple hand tool can't easily remove the magazine. I have to load the gun from the top.

At least I didn't go this far! This will make some of you cry

The only thing my compliance mod has caused is difficulty clearing the firearm because there isn't much space to push the bullets forward when you pivot the upper up. So all in all, loading the magazine is just as easy if not easier because I have the whole gun to hold. But my firearm is actually now harder to clear for safety purposes than just simply removing the magazine. Love it!

I have my posts per page set to 40. So we are on page 223 in my world :p

Yea my boss is from NY and I've talked to him about the laws.. its crazy how limited you are. Drastic difference from Texas (where I am from) and NC (where I live now). I can freely open carry here and with my concealed carry permit I can walk in a gun store and walk out with any gun within 15 minutes..

In va you need a drivers license and another form of ID with your address (piece of mail, car registration, etc...)

Tn you need a drivers license and that's it

Only like that for open carry in va....my permit makes life easy though. What about residents from other states in AZ? (Do I need a permit?)

To the best of my knowledge only AZ residents can carry concealed without a permit however it is extremely easy to obtain an AZ CCW. You are able to open carry at any time I believe as long as you follow laws and appropriate restrictions.

cool, I'll have to check reciprocity laws as well (my TN carry license might work fine lol)
