    thats where i luck out.. My DB lift takes care of the need for front skids and im tall enough that i have yet to touch my gas tank "skid" so it's still the factory one.. If you saw my Tcase skid you would probably laugh it was the quickest cheapest thing I've skid ive ever "built"

    Amazon is the second cheapest place ive found them. The cheapest is a wholesale company you need to have an account with.

    Yeah they are pretty cheap on Amazon. If I can find a company that will price match though I would rather help out a wheeling company or someone we know instead.

    I use mine occassionally, but I'm sure you would be just fine in Moab without one. When I was in Moab last I was just rocking the factory skids and never touched them, though I wasn't doing any of the hard lines then. I'm still pretty sure you will be just fine without a fuel tank skid while there.

    Yeah. Most of the trails are rigs are capable of are just so open and somewhat smooth there that it is a low priority.

    Only person I saw use his gas tank skid was Wishbone on wipeout hill. His truck was sitting right on it, which I have video of.

    The part I am talking about is at about 8:00 in the video.
