Good job. Glad you broke 1000lbs for all three combined. Speaking of which, what the fuck is "strict press"?

    -edit-

There were a whole lot of chicks in that class. Must have looked quite the beast there. I'm serious too.

didn't expect that did you? haha thanks!

strict press is a standing military/overhead press. can't use a dip/push press to get it up. it's heavy as shit.

and yeah, there are a lot of women in the afternoon classes. only a few people in the house that are in my weight levels, the only guy close in my dead lifts is one of the coaches who was a navy rescue swimmer and is trying to compete in the crossfit games this year.

You're still fat, fool. Never said weak.

Minus the lack of dip/push, it's still the same mechanics and movement?

    true.

yep, we actually teach it as a progressive movement.

strict press -> push press -> push jerk

Interesting. Remember doing something very similar for powerlifting as it was great for explosive power.

dude, you never fuck crazy...... although most of the time, it's much, much more fun.

sane chicks won't try to convince you that you're the father 10 months after you last slept together and she's 8 months pregnant.

sane chicks won't put nails in your tires.

sane chicks won't let you cook and expensive dinner then give you the "let's be friends" speech as you pull into the parking lot for a concert you spent 250$ on.

sane chicks don't have nicknames like "parking lot pam".

sane chicks will have a "female friend" that likes to play around but it usually as attractive or more so than "sane chick" rather than look like peter griffen with meth mouth.

i'm not sayin, i'm just sayin.
