    Built them up for a friend, hell - they look better then the ones that I'm running.

    Anyone know what the measurement is for the first spring? I got mine broken down tonight and cleaned up. Just need to scribe them and cut them in the morning.

    Measure the bottom spring ( & I don't mean overload) Deduct 3.75" off each end of donor spring, this measurment is your length, you're 2nd gen so it's easy, you need 1 spring for an inch (depending on ARC of donor)

    Take measurment of bottom spring overall, next measure off 3.75" ,scribe, cut, repeat on other end of donor, re assemble & done...:)

    Should I use the middle donor spring since it has more arch or the top? I know I have to make sure my center pin lines up in the middle and even amount of length on both sides correct?

    Well your only looking for an inch, so make sure you don't use any spring with too much ARC, I've seen 1 leaf give as much as 2" & yes centerpin to leaf ends equal for you..

    Well I didn't see your response. I no longer have bro lean but now have stink bug. Of course that's with no weight in the truck. Thinking and hoping once I add the bed cover back on and maybe some other weight the rear will settle down a bit. I am at 44" from ground to the bottom of the fender and the front is 42.5" took the springs to a local shop and they cut them in less than an minute and no charge. So 33 bucks and I'm sitting closer to level.

    Already had longer shocks on so that wasn't an issue. But now I guess those extended rear brake lines I was selling are going to to good use. Thinking of taking it apart again in the morning and adding two more leafs and might can ditch my block all together. But I was amazed at how easy the whole thing was. I didn't take my packs off the truck to install. I just clamped two c clamps on each side and took the center pin out and slowly let the c clamps out. Then slid my new leaf in and clamped them back up new bolt and tightened it down then cut the excess off. Thanks for the thread Doug.

    Hey Doug so i finally found a late 60's F250 with 2.25" width leafs. Problem is their not long enough, so I'll probably end up keeping the top two toyota springs and add 3 of the donor springs. And Just to clarify, I measure my toyota springs and subtract 3.75" and that's what my donor springs length will be correct?

    Right, as described earlier take measurement from bottom OEM spring,cut 3.75" off each end of donor & so on....
