just ordered my seats.. it was guick and easy, now the hard part is the waiting....

 

Did anyone get the trd logo on their, if sowith what red did you go with?

I just called to order. $243 to send to my dad's house or $273 to send them to Germany. Idk if I should just pay the $30 difference or try and find out if it's cheaper to pay the $243 then him send them to me.

 

Ohh yeah because I saw like three different types of red for the trd logo but can't decide lol

 

I ordered yesterday and haven't gotten the email yet.

 

I would call and verify that they have your email address correct. I didn't recieve an email last night either. Turned out they had my email wrong.

 

Did y'all email photos of your seats? Even though our trucks are pretty much the same, and they probably don't need them; I used that email to ensure that they had my contact info correct.

 

I paid the 70$ for shipping, they said it might be cheaper if I gave them a local address instead of APO but it would be international shipping (and that doesn't make sense). The guy on the phone said it's a 'oversize' box and that means it will go standard ground shipping until it hits NY/NJ for mil-air. Your dad could re-package them and cram them into a smaller box which might save you some $, (i doubt it) or it might not.

 

I called, and my order hasn't been processed yet. ???

I added the TRD logo to my RealTree AP covers.....
They do have my email correct.

The $70 was because you got front and back right? He told me it would be $20 shipping to my dads then $50 shipping to APO AE 09114 (Germany). I then said well why does your website just put $20 for shipping when i went to checkout on it (i put in the seat covers i wanted entered my billing address and shipping address and it came up only $20 shipped to Germany, was going off that as an estimate). He said that if I would have ordered through the website they would see that it was over seas and call me and readjust the price to reflect $50 shipping. I then responded by saying "that seems to be a little misleading don't you think?" He said that's just the way it's set up and by shipping these seat covers to you at $50 we actually take a $5-10 loss (I'm not sure if I believe that or not). I told him I'd think about it and call him back, he said that's fine but remember the sale ends this friday (which the thread states it ends on the 28th) he also threw in the conversation that he was the one in charge of shipping and finding the best shipping prices. So I guess I can either pay the $273 to get them direct, pay the $243 and take a chance that my dad can ship them cheaper, or wait until I'm stateside use the military discount and get them $253. I'm not trying to complain because this groupbuy is saving money and it's no ones fault but my own that I'm stationed overseas, but $50 is a lot to ship some fabric, they can't weigh that damn much.

If I decide to ship them to my dad then he reboxes them into a smaller box (if possible) would it make them look like crap after he folds them more? I have a feeling they'd be wrinkled all to hell. Would washing them or throwing them in the bathtub in hot water then letting them air dry get the wrinkles out? I've never had seat covers so I don't know what to expect.

Just put in my order. I called the 888 number and it's the California store. I live in Honolulu and they said they do not ship to the Honolulu store??

I'm going to try and call the Honolulu store and order through them.

 

The lady on the phone offered me to pick up at the honolulu store, so I don't see why you would be different. Let us know how it goes. I also called the other # btw.

 

Check your SPAM if you have not received the invoice E-mail. I called and had them resend it while I was on the phone but never received it. I then checked by SPAM and there it was all 4 that they sent.

 

I called the Honolulu store and the lady mentioned that if ordered through the California store, they do not ship to the Honolulu store. Also she mentioned that the Honolulu store is not participating in the Tacoma World group buy.

I'm a bit frustrated at this point.
