I'm registered in FL, which is no inspection and only rear plate. But need to move it to VA in case of insurance claim.

i didnt have a problem when i went down and registered my car and i have regeistered the truck 3 times since being here.you just have to make sure your insurance is in their database. if not, u wont be able to register it until that happens. i had to make sure of all this when i came back from germany.

georgia tied insurance and registration together. after i canceled my insurance and got insurance for germany when i pcsd to germany, my dad got a letter saying they will cancel my registration since i dont have insurance but he called them and told them whats up. when i came back i had to tell usaa to make sure that my insurance is in ga's database so i can get it registered when i got back.

Guess I need to pay attention today in class too! Looks like I may have to go ahead and move out to you guys before the house sells if something doesnt happen soon. cant wait around for it to sell and lose the opportunity at the new place. will just have to come to terms with leaving the wife and our 2 yo son in alabama til the house sells.
