SO I just installed Spidertrax 1.25" spacers with SCS 6 Wheels and am hitting my Cab mount when full lock turning in reverse. Anyone have this issue? Whats the solution. CMC is that the only way to fix this? Im running 265 70 17 Toyo ATIIs

Taking off the spacers will fix your problem. With wheels that already have a BS of probably 4.25-4.5, subtracting another 1.25" of BS for spacers and you are looking for issues, which you already have. Those tires are not big enough to cause issues, even with stock suspension.

Would a CMC fix my problem along with a lift? I will be getting fiberglass eventually too

What are your future plans as for as lift and tires? You won't even need the spacers for even 33's if your wheels are 4.25 or 4.5" of BS. Doing a CMC is way too extreme in your application when it's not needed. Running spacers on top of aftermarket wheels is just putting more stress on the wheel bearings, especially when it's not needed. Lifting it and keeping the spacers will yield the same issues. It's the wide turn radius from the spacers that's causing the issues, not your tire height.

I am going to install my 885xs and set the billies at .85 w/ LR UCA's along with adding new all pro standard leafs in the rear w/ fox 2.0 10" to complete my lift and possibly go to 275 70 17 or 285 70 17. I might just deal with the rubbing. I like the stance the spacers give my truck and sucks that there isnt a fix and it hits the Cab Mount when reversing. My tires dont hit anything when driving normal except upon full lock in reverse.

anyone else? Can I put a hammer to the Cab mount and knock it in some vs having to completely cut it out and weld a piece on?

Even with a lift you will still rub on the cab mount when cycling the suspension. A lift just changes where you sit in the travel, not the travel itself per se. So at full stuff you would still rub. If you just drive on pavement all the time it won't be a problem though.

Though if you are thinking of doing a drop bracket 4+" lift that will move the whole suspension down and may keep you from rubbing.

The easy fix will be to do the CMC or ditch the spacers. Having an alignment done and trying to get your caster up to 3 degrees or more will help as well because that will move the tire forward in the wheel well.

Thanks for that info. Would it F up anything if I bent that piece in some with a hammer. Yes I know thats not smart or practical and voids stuff yata yata but if it fixes my problem and want mess up anything then why not?

Anybody in the Pensacola area that knows of a shop that knows how to do the CMC or anyone available near me to help me with this that knows how to weld.

Are you just barely rubbing the cab mount? I would just take a grinder to it a little and that should fix it. That was all I had to do on my drivers side. Passenger side wasn't rubbing.

I think you would have to hit it pretty hard to bend it and your may break/bend the whole mount/frame before the edge you are rubbing on folds in.

    This.

If you insist on keeping the spacers, then chop and weld a cover over the cab mount. It's not that hard.

I can't imagine beating that thing in with a hammer. When folks talk about using the hammer, they're talking about beating back the pinch weld which is above the cab mount.

I would love to chop and weld a cover but dont know of anyone that would have a clue what they were doing in my area. Might take a grinder to it.

nothing is going to happen if you cut that little piece off. Just be sure to paint it so you don't get rust issues.

I took a flapper disk on a grinder and basically smoothed that lip out with no problems. I was just barely rubbing on it every once in a while.
