    I am going next week to have my whole truck exterior Line-X. I have seen several Tundras and Jeeps but no Tacomas. I have an 06 DCLB and the paint has about had it from all the trail riding. Give me your thoughts. I will post pics before and after.

    I had a friend who did it to an old Toyota Pickup and mud sticks to it and stains it. I wouldn't do it either, unless you never plan on going off-road...also, it fades over time and, seeing as you're in GA as well, you're gonna be able to fry an egg on it in the summer lol

    Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
    i would get a new paint job before bed lining the whole thing.. seems like it would be hard to sell to someone who isnt into off roading..

    Line-X is a great Product My Father has had it in the bed of his truck for 7 years now and I don't see any sines of Fading. I will agree Dirt and mud will stick to it much easier and leave a stain like residue but with a little elbow grease I have seen it cleaned up and brought back to black. I also am very interested to see before and after shots along with Cost. Good Luck!

I'm not going to do it for a long long time. I still have plans for other mods. Seen them personally on many jeeps and they look great in tan, OD green, and dark grey

    behind the rear seat hi-lift mount bracket, easy-out crossbed toolbox brackets, sliders, ATO plate rear bumper, hood/bed lighting, always-on 12v outlets, dashcam, Viper 5806V w/ GPS
    I want to do this so bad, probably will in a couple years. On my 99 Tacoma, the only thing that wasn't rusted out was the rhino liner in the bed, and it didn't look too weathered after 13 years in the sun. And that was without the UV / clear coat treatment they have for Line-X now.

    To all the people worrying about resale - what the hell? Why would you ever think of selling your trucks? Unless Toyota also offers to buy this one back for 75% of its brand-new value in 15 years, I'm keeping mine until it falls apart.
