    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
Unless you're one to never ever modify the truck after signing the papers, I say save your money and don't get a TRD Pro.

You're looking at probably close to $40k out the door for a new grill(which can be ordered and fit to any 2012+ Tacoma model), a hood scoop, "special" emblems, and "TRD Bilstein" suspension which you'll eventually end up yanking off and replacing with something superior from the aftermarket. I say go for either a TRD OR(for the locker) or a TRD Sport(for the looks--- everything color matched with a scoop) and use that extra $5-7k you'd otherwise spend on the TRD Pro for upgrades worthwhile (like a TRD supercharger + suspension) and build a much more fun truck for $40k. ;)

lol I'm not gonna lie, I'm considering an SR for those reasons too... I like the clean look of everything being color matched. You're probably right, if it ever sees real offroad I'm going to replace a lot of things, possibly even the axles too if I try and build it up like my previous rig.

I saw my first 2014 SR on the road last week, and I dig it a lot!! Actually kinda jealous it gets color matched AND turn signal'd mirrors(like the TRD Sport) haha. The black wheels look really good on it, and really accentuate the smoked out headlights. DCSB Tacoma SR looks to be right up your alley man! :D DOOOO EEEEETTTTT

Still Has a perfect point that I'm finding out real quickly. With the plans I have intended, I'm seriously beginning to think I paid alotta extra money for a TX sticker when I shouldn't have.

I opted for the TX Pro option because I've always LOVED the TRD beadlock style wheels that came on them and really have no intentions on changing them out ever unless I ruin them lol. I knew before buying the truck I'd end up powder coating the rings white for a unique look for my build.

For $1700 you get wheels and a catback exhaust from the factory...the TRD catback uses 2.5" piping too which is surprising. If you go and search for how much people are selling these sets of wheels its well over $1000 and that's not even counting tires! Combined with the retail price of the TRD cat back ($399) I can definitely justify the TX Pro sticker on mine. :D

I sold my TRD exhaust to a friend but for only $75 under retail so I didn't lose much money on the package.

I just wished they would have done something exclusive to TX's on the interior.

HAHA damnit I WISH that was happening! Unfortunately, those headers would never work on my truck being that I have TC coil bucket gussets welded on. :(

LOL! You'll see, and you'll love it. ;)

    Thanks man! :)

    Some exhaust system updates....

If you've followed this build, you know I had that huge 4" tip angled down dangling off my Magnaflow. Well that became a clearance problem when Anthony installed my Defined SUA---the axle actually shifted forward slightly but enough to make contact with the exhaust tip. Anthony basically "flattened" the tip to make room for the axle, but even then I wasn't happy with that small clearance.

So, I had a TRUE turn down tip welded on. This one is from Flowmaster.

    Before/after pic:

    (old tip on top)

...and I had my muffler guy also weld in a Dynomax "Race Bullet" muffler (p/n 24222) between my Vibrant resonator and my Magnaflow muffler just to mum the exhaust a little more at cruising speeds. Sounds VERY nice a throaty now.

    Here it is:

I'll try to shoot an updated exhaust video so you guys can listen and compare it to my last exhaust video.

Like my multi-branded suspension setup, my exhaust setup doesn't discriminate either it seems LOL.
    let's review:
    -Doug Thorley Headers
    -URD y-pipe
-URD MK2 3" catback front pipe
    -Vibrant 3" resonator
    -Dynomax Race Bullet 3" muffler
    -Magnaflow 3" muffler
    -Flowmaster 3" turndown tip
