See how stupid it looks on a hot, sunny day after hard riding on a dirtbike or ATV for several hours...A breezy, shady spot is worth its weight in gold under those conditions. Or how about a relatively dry place to change out of muddy, wet riding gear if the sky opens up on you?

For you guys arguing about having a ball or hitch on back while trying to get passed, I'll say one thing.

Only leave it in when you need it, because even though you may think it will help if you get rear-ended, that usually isn't the case. It actually causes more damage to your truck, and often times will bend the frame. Puts all the pressure in one spot.
Source... roommate works for a shop, seen it all too many times. It may pass, but who gives a shit, take it off when you don't need it.
