2014 Norcal Wheeling Trip Thread

I was the only 2wd and had some difficulties getting through the last part of some snow but managed to eventually get through.

 

It was pretty mellow. After I scratched the donkey dick out of my car and forgot my vagasil wipes I let the pussy get the best of me...

 

I will for sure be down for a hollister trip... Should have ifs skid and hopefully some sliders by then.

 

Thought I'd share some pics. I didn't get a chance to take very many but you get the idea.

Here's one of the first trails we hit.



We didn't make it far until there was whining about pinstripes, so we turned around.



Some of us went up this steep trail, other wen't on the M1 and had a chat with the game warden about some hooligans doing donuts. No idea who that was

Did one more trail with Evan and Kevin before joining the crew back at the range



After everyone took off my buddy and I found a spot out of the wind to set up camp. Made bacon, eggs, and bush beans for dinner and enjoyed a decent view of the stars.



Got up at 5:30 for more bacon and eggs, then packed up and got back in time to catch my calc class.





Good times!

 

I debated staying the night before but I wanted to drive up with you guys. Pretty committed waking up at 530 to make class!

Top of hull mountain, really mellow road up. Way more fun when there's snow because there's a good chance of getting stuck if its fresh but not ssfe enough to get pulled out Hahaha.

Potter valley, I suppose you can call it a town Hahaha. Ukiah is the closest major town about 30-45min away.
