Bought a new 2014 Tacoma 4x4 from Hatch Toyota in Show Low, Az. Clutch squeaks when applied, both inside and outside noise. Very annoying. Have had it in 4 times for same repair. Replaced clutch pedal assembly, master cylinder, and greased the hell out of it. No luck. I am now trying to file a lemon law dispute, but Toyota doesn't like to admit mistakes so it is going to take a while. Worst consumer decision of my life.

In a world of terribly poorly made vehicles, isn't it nice to only have a squeaky clutch issue? Seriously, Tacoma pedals squeak. The fix seems to be turning the push rod a half turn loose. It lessons the drag. Almost every day. At least once a week, there's a new post about clutch pedal noise and almost everyone has stopped it this way. Mine doesn't make noise. (yet) but the last two Tacomas that I had did. I wasn't on this site back then and I could never make the noise go away. Do a search on clutch pedal noise and try some of the great ideas. I know you payed good money for your truck and the noise is annoying, but you bought a good truck and you'll be fine.

    Zeropilot,
You are way off base. I paid 31K and do not have to live with a loud squeak. If it were a really good truck it wouldn't be making a clutch noise. Toyota needs to fix this issue.

I can understand your annulment, some guys can put up with noises and some guys want there 31k truck not to squeak! Im not sure about the 2nd gens, but there is a DIY fix for the 1st Gen noise. Maybe give that a try.

    jsnee2013,
We you ever successful with the lemon law? I was recommended to try to lemon mine. I have a 2015 that I paid $35,000 cash for and at 18k miles I'm about to have it fixed for the third time now. If I pay this kind of money for a truck I shouldn't have to touch it for a long time..... No DIY yourself remedies until it gets older if you know what I mean
