Just bought an Aero Turbine 2525Xl :)

From everything I've read on here a lot of guys love this muffler so figured I would give it a shot. Got it off Ebay for $98 with free shipping. I'm curious what should I expect to pay a shop to cut out my muffler and weld this thing in? I think I will keep the stock muffler just for down the road its basically brand new since I just hit 3k miles on the truck.

 

Nice, I would like to do this also, Sub'd for pricing estimates, though may weld on with friend's welder. Difference between 2525 and 2525xl?

 

xl has built in resonator. I don't want my truck super loud just going for an aggressive tone.

 

Ah, I see, so the resonator will make it less raspy and just all around sound better? 2525 louder?

Right on will looking forward to getting it 50 isn't too bad that's about what I was guessing. Did you keep your stock muffler?

 

I am also running the 2525xl. I used to have DTLT headers as well but took them off. I paid around 110 for muffler and 50 for install. I love it still, not to loud nice sound

 

It was taking up space so I tossed it.

$40-$50 is what I've paid in the past (several times, over a couple of trucks)

 

Paid 100 shipped (ebay) for the 2525XL. Went to a local shop and paid $100 for the install + an after axle chop & dump. Muffler tip points straight down now and is still higher than axle so i wont screw anything up while rock crawling.
