It's not just these guys that can back me up but plenty more of the AZ guys that wheel with me. They know first hand just how capable my truck is with no locker or atrac. You can have your opinion if you want it, but be prepared to back it up with proof and not something you read off of TW. For instance, I know Jake isn't a fan of DBs, but he atleast can speak to why and I repect his opinion, even if I don't agree.

I understand that there is a majority of DB guys that are there for show and malls and some may be douchebags, but not all of them.

 

Yeah so TC LT is $3060, then I have to get 4wd spindles and extended CV axles, plus 2.5" coilovers. Probably out the door at $5,000 which ain't bad

We have plenty of gear between all of us. And he is a db and I dont mean drop bracket

 

I just don't like DB lifts because the crossmember is the same height, so it's pretty ineffective when you try to get more clearance. I've wheeled with an FJ with the rough cuntry DB lift and he hit every fucking rock. I cleared them just fine..

Everyone's opinions. Jon did a awesome job on his lift. But he is also a great driver and is aware of his db and what rocks are coming. My wife on the other hand hits everything wiyh it. Then same trail I drive her truck and dont hit shit. To each there own tho

 

Not entirely true, whoever you wheeled with couldn't pick a line. The pumpkin is still the lowest part of the Tacoma. I went out on a very tough trail with the 3.5 guys and I did hit a rock where my LCA and DB meet, but that was my bad because I didn't wait for my spotter. This last weekend out I didn't hit once where the 3.5 guys did. I have more clearance, height and no rubs with 34s. My 5" DB and a few others I know of can keep up with you 3.5 guys.. fact.
