Its kind of the same how 4wd like to take shots at 2wd. You have a different idea of what you consider to be fun while off roading and I can see how your setup suits what you like to do. I can see how both worlds can be fun but its funny to me how most 4wd guys think rock crawling is the only type of off road

Definitely to each their own! I just prefer travel to height. You can do more with articulation than you can with 34's lol

Guy I wheel with has a trail limo sport with DB lift and is on 37s... he walks up shit with much more ease than the sub 3" lifted trucks

Agreed, I love all off road driving. Sycamore is a blast in an LT and I get it. You guys can throttle through the nastiest of whoops where I need to hit the brakes. My first time out in Jason's LT on a simple shakedown run, my adrenaline was going. It was a total high!

So if I go LT I can afford a SC and the whole suspension for the same price as just parts for a SAS. Damnnn

Then I can play on rocks and play with you guys in the sand box

Not arguing with you at all, just saying I feel your pain with some that don't understand that you built your truck to do what you wanted it to do

My last measurement up front was almost 8" of travel and if I had the money to order different Icons and remove some of the bump stops that came with my TC lowers, I know I could squeeze closer to 9" of travel. I also know that my rear icons are limiting my droop by 2.5". Unfortunately I learned the hard way that I should've installed my leaf pack, uppers and lowers before ordering my icons.
Now I'm house poor, and those upgrades and the family take priority :D

Pretty sure Jon meant guys with a 3.5" lift.

Jons truck is set up a little different than a typical db lift. His db lift also consists of Icon coil overs and Total Chaos uniball upper and their race series lower. In the rear he has a full leaf pack ordered from Deaver. He is at about 4.5-5" of lift and on 34's with as much travel as the mid travel guys.

You don't need 4wd spindles, there is no such thing...yet. Most of the 3.5" over kits use your stock spindle so you save there

Oh I know there is no argument here. I'm making the same point you are. I'm just saying if you are going to trash on DB, have a solid case to back it up. Just like you are saying about pre runners. :D

 to you and anyone who uses their truck the way its intended.
