    Good..

Must be in the genes of the new generation cause no one would even consider doing some of the things we see back in the day.

Not feeling the best today. I am going to try and take it easy but I do not think that will happen. ;)

I need something stronger than Zicam. I have a runny nose, feel run down after 7 hours of sleep, and I am cold in a house that is 71°.

Once I finish running errands and get back home I need to watch a movie, after I set an alarm clock.

    Afternoon all:
Hope you guys are feeling better.

Jim hit it on the head with DUMB! Good to hear there's a lot of flack coming their way. I would rather see them busted and get deployed to some forward post in Afghanistan also. That would give them some time to think about how doing unacceptable things have consequences!

The kitchen was separate from the house, because of the danger of fires I guess. You had to walk out of the house, under a short roofed walkway and into the kitchen. They had to carry the cooked food back into the house. Washing dishes, food residue flowed through an open "trough" in the back yard to a drainage ditch in the alley between houses. Funny thing, people were actually healther then than now.

I was thinking the other day about this,, I would help the shaker ( a lil black boy) my grand dad would hire to clean out the chicken shit out of the hen house and throw it out in the garden by hand. was watching a young woman wipe down all the silver ware and plates with a wet wipe for her kids in a nice clean restaurant. Want to bet the kids have no immune system down the road:rolleyes:

Feeling somewhat better this morning. I crawled into bed at 11:00am yesterday and crawled out at 06:00 this morning. I have to take the son to school and pick him up but that is the extent of what I need to do today. Rest of the day will be relaxing and watch a few movies before I pick my son up. I also cancelled 2 meetings I had tonight as well. This bug still is not done with me.

It does Cap but it sure beats the alternative....have a funeral for a friend today and possibly early next week one for my brother-in-laws mother-in- law.

Going to doctors comes in spurts for me. Just seems like pain never really goes away. At best it hides for a while.

Don't know what is causing all the cancers, and other issues...it's hurts seeing people suffering from them and eventually losing them...glad hospice took care of his dc for his family...

The missus calls her pain management "better living through drugs" ...hate going to the doctors. I remember when you could call his office, tell them what was wrong and they would call in a prescription for you...I can(showing my age now) remember doctors making house calls:D...those were the days:thumbsup:
