Sport version seems just a little more hip. Bought my new ACOR 4x4 and traded in my old ACOR PR and they all tried to sell me a Sport even after I told them I don't like it. It is non-functioning so why have it. imo

I will admit that I DO like the LOOK of the scoop, but my last car was a 2002 Mustang GT with a hood scoop (non functional also). That damn thing didnt do anything cept collect bugs and after a wash and shine the it would drain watter and bug guts down my shiny hood for like 2 hours. It was much more trouble than it was worth, so I'll pass on those scoops myself. Really wouldnt mind having the other "sport" parts like the painted grill and other parts and the mirrors with the turn signals in em and stuff.

I like the look of the scoop but after test driving a sport I hated it. It's a little distracting and since it serves no purpose, I went without. I did however get the matching grill and that completes the front end look for me

Think this is a little funny coming from somebody that has a 4x2 that looks like a 4x4, just saying.

Not a fan of the skwep.

Non-functional hood scoops are no better than those stupid vent things Buick was slapping on their vehicles for a while. If the "scoop" aka strip of plastic offered some form of ventilation, I would appreciate it for at least doing that. But it is not even a real scoop. It's a raised strip of plastic. If I had a TRD sport, I would be looking to trade hoods with a regular tacoma. Although I am envious of the sport's paint-matched trim...

I'll take my non functional hood scoop on my DCLB over a non functional 5' bed anyday , not sure why DCSB owners even bought a truck , you should have got a 4Runner

My daily life almost never requires using the bed of my truck, but the situation I was presented with made going with this particular truck a no-brainer. A 4runner would be nice though. Eventually I'd like to get a camper so that I can keep the dog out of the back seat. It is nice to know that I can throw the dirty or bulky things like pool filters, sound equipment, instruments, etc, in the bed (as long as it's not raining ) and still bring all my friends with me. That is more than enough functionality for me.

Open the bed. Bam 2 more feet... the 5' bed suits my needs just fine. Never had any problems with the 1 foot shorter bed though.

Scoop hood looks fine. I can take it or leave it. I would like the painted mirrors with the Blinkers more but that is a relatively easy swap. My shitty looking Chrome rear bumper is the only thing I don't like but that is getting replaced so that won't be a problem much longer. I hate chrome.

I don't think I want a scoop. I'm not sure but I don't think it's functional. Now--a nice set of chrome wheels with baby moons. Thats Functional......

I had no real choice other than to order without. I could of had it removed and I still might. Dealer ghknks resale will be better with. I know people buy Sports for things other than scoop and understand that.

The scooped hood does not interest me. it looks pretty on sports, along with the handles and mirrors, but with how much 4 wheeling I do, painted mirrors/handles would have been scratched to hell. I guess what im saying is it makes your truck look like an unused queen all sported up.
The front end is already big w/o the scoop, cant see whats right in front when wheelin anyways, why make it worse
