9/2/14 Edit: 4.3 Vortec installed, NP3500, custom NP233 transfer case, high pinion dana 44 SAS with ARB, 4.88 gears, bobbing the bed, 5" lift, boxed rear frame, custom s10 fuel tank mount, etc. 12/16/13 Edit: Currently tearing down a 2000 Blazer to transplant the 4.3 Vortec and 5spd manual transmission (NV3500 I believe) into the Taco. It'll pass CO emissions when done. Planning to post a thread once complete. E-Locker, budget CAI and exhaust, Warn Powerstation, Addicted Off Road bumper, ToyTec OME w/AAL lift, aftermarket stereo w/10 inch subwoofer (only cool when you realize how I fit it in a reg cab truck), dual lexus horns, roll bar, off road lights, CB radio, Powertrax Lock Right locker (front diff), ejecto seat, laser/phaser/ion ray gun, oil slick, heat seaking missles...
Umm, what happened to the frame aft of the cab? Ha

I'd buy that art. Pretty sure my wife is past complaining since all that's currently left of mine is a cab on two smooth frame rails. At least mine still has seats in it haha

True, I suppose if it were by suspension mine wouldn't either. I am interested to see what you do with your bed, still trying to decide what to do with mine

I have the bed drawn out on graph paper because I'm too stupid for CAD.

And no lie, the sheet metal I cut off from today alone was ~ 45lbs.

If some of my coworkers are smart enough for CAD I bet you'd do fine haha. I don't doubt the weight. Did you use a cutoff wheel or air shears? If a wheel how do you keep dust down in your garage? I'm considering a dust collector for all my grinding, everything is getting a fine black layer of dust collecting on it :(
