So, I've got $500 store credit to the service/parts store at the local dealer. What should I do with it? I was planning on keeping it in case I need some work done in a few years, but I'm also afraid I'll lose it by then and it will just be wasted.. And I kinda want some other goodies. lol

I'd love some of the TRD beadlock style wheels or Baja wheels but theyre so damn expensive. Thought of a roof rack but I don't think I'd actually use it all that much. Anyone know if the TRD cat-back exhaust is different than the stock exhaust on my TRD Sport? I'm assuming yes but I know its pretty much purely aesthetics too.

Too bad $500 would barely put a dent in the cost of a supercharger+install..

The trd cat back is different than the stock sport exhaust. Joe has it u can hear it this weekend. Don't get those wheels. Yes they do look sick but for tht money u can get nice wheels and good tires to go with them. The OEM roof rack u can get new on eBay for $100. I'd get lift components.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. Those wheels are $259.00 a pop which would be over a grand for only 4 rims.. haha I'll have to listen to the cat back and see what its like.

what kind of lift components? I thought about using it to buy some of the parts from the Baja lift, but piecing that all together is still going to be about $1300 after the $500 credit for just shocks and springs when I could buy an entire kit for much cheaper than that.

TRD cat back sounds pretty much (at least i think so) like a borla or an aero turbine exhaust if you've heard any of them on a 4.0 taco before. I would do the TRD intake if you want to use the credit....my opinion is to do an intake before an exhaust if i can't afford to do both at once. Just my opinion.

Besides, you can get a trd exhaust from a member or on sale online.

My only complaint about the trd exhaust is that the one i have worked on, is on its third gasket since it left the dealer ship in only 25k miles (the gasket that has failed is the one where the catback portion bolts to the y-pipe).

I know tht some toyota dealerships offer the OME 3" lift kit to be installed at the dealership. Maybe u could use the credit towards tht.

They do act as sliders. I've seen those before. I didn't know they had LEDs tho. Kinda cool.
