Well... being that my price range is sub 10k... I'll probably do it anyways as i'll set my mind at ease and it'll be about due for another 90k service anyways... how much did it run you? did you do the work yourself or pay a shop? I'm not the best mechanic, but I don't mind busting my knuckles and getting my grease in my eyes... err wait LOL:rolleyes:

so mileage I've been seeing is 150-200k...

I paid $9600 for my 2000 runner with 80k on it. Drove it 11k. And did a whole refurb with axels, wheel bearings, head gaskets and the list goes on and on. That's more than the 90k service. I had a shop do it. One of the local members on here did all the work. It was north of 3k is what I did but like I said I did everything. I told him make it purrr like a walrus and that he did. :p

I paid $6,500 for my 126k on my 98 taco. :D Screaming deal.

And I got it from a guy who's brother owns Superior Gear and Axle. They used it as a parts delivery truck. They originally bought it for their father for his anniversary. They switched out his car for mine when it was valeted with a giant bow on it. :D

I have all these weird connections. :anonymous: Though it seems like they might have died off for some reason...

Anyone have any connections with a machine shop, either local or international? I need some small pieces machined out of aluminum and am going to start price shopping.

My initial guess says craigslist, but I don't think that is the right answer here...

Smaller level than plasma, probably CNC. I have a design for two small parts less than 2" x 2" x 2" that I need made. Could be a handful of them or a lot more depending on demand once the first run is done.

Do you know how to work a CNC machine. Because I have access to one.

I used to set up the plotters, install & teach CAD & AutiCAD in the 90's but that's about as close to CNC Operator as I am. So.... no. lol

I am pretty good at learning new skills though especially as it pertains to tech. I'm willing to try on your CNC machine. ;)
